Gunwild: This is kinda relevant to this month's pinup...

Psu: Vanaa are fun even if we kinda mess up their dialect all the time.

Gunwild: Well, I think you know this, but aside from Talps and Prince Gleb, all of the main Vanaa have their own personal pronouns

Gunwild: "My self" or "self" or "Kag"

Gunwild: Or when they overlap, they have their own speech ticks, like Skwidj goes into psuedo-religious doomsaying rants in crises.

Psu: Huh, I typed in all of the text and I don't remember that about Kag. I DO remember though that the "shell" part of the Vanaa collars were kind of left off on all the rest of the Vanaa except Gleb and the two evil ones. It seems very formal, like the equivalent of a crown.

Psu: I live for those doom saying rants, by the by.

Gunwild: We gotta do another one next time he's around, even if it's just because someone forgot to make reservations at a restaurant.

Psu: Heh. Ya know, I really have tended towards drawing any humanoid vanaa as cute ladies and this is no exception. This one predates Talps as a character but I think they share a bunch of design features. They're probably the same character. Lets just say this is Talps concept art.

Gunwild: Wearing the collar as a collar worked out pretty well for this Vanaa even in the different shape.

Psu: Oh yeah, that's a thing I didn't carry over. I think it didn't make sense because the Collars were solid pieces and weren't supposed to do things like change size. So they'd often just slip off of Talps' waist.

Psu: By the by, when are the Guy Vanaa's gonna turn into hunky humanoids? Or for that matter... are they guys? Does this warrant the start of a complicated conversation on gender identity?

Gunwild: That's actually a conversation for another piece of concept art I'm sure you've forgotten you drew.
