Oh that's interesting!! I never thought of it that way but that totally makes sense too!! My nails are really thin so they tend to break on their own before they get too long haha I'm slightly jealous of people with beautiful long nails LOL

i relate to this even though my process is in reverse! when my nails are super long i'm usually not looking after myself very well (sometimes it's mental health but a lot of the time it's just my brain being scattered and i forget) it's when they're clipped to a more acceptable length that you know i'm on top of things. :P ... the timing of this is pretty funny actually bc i clipped my nails about 15 minutes ago
