Again, Druid sought to place the remark. She felt somehow that the moment was slipping away from her. “Before that!” she snapped. “You displayed something of an artistic flair on the night in question…?”
“What can I say,” he said, fox eyes over a wolfish grin. “Every once and again the spirit moves me, and poetry is the result. Shall we compose together again?”
Druid stared. It was not going at all like she had hoped.
“What?” said her kitsune lover.
“I was thinking of the time with the ropes,” she said flatly. “That shibari thing we tried.”
“And you want another demonstration?”
“On the contrary,” she said. “I was thinking of a role reversal.”
Arcane archer arched an eyebrow. “Have you got any ranks in Use Rope?”
“I’ll do you one better,” said Druid. “I memorized entangle.”
