It's sad, but the "magical" elements ultimately cause death, destruction, and prophetic dreams and ideas of a higher power breed war. If magic dies, what would that new world look like? Would Jon (and Beric in the show) drop dead? Mel's potions leave her withered? The direwolves and dragons, dead? What is magic and what is not?

He would stay dead for real, not ever coming back, not even as Lord Stoneheart of some kind. And if yes, where do you imagine that would lead our story? (Pardon me my english mistakes, not my language. Also, in YouTube I'm stuck with a silly name: Joana Bariztsmee, which was supposed to be read as 'but its me'... just clarifying that)
