Interesting though - she's not as smart as she first appeared. A really intelligent person would have realised that not taking BP would reveal a critical weakness, a flaw in their character. A wiser demon would have taken BP even though they were no longer interested, just to conceal that flaw. Now her enemies know how to manipulate her - all they need to do is pretend they want to be enslaved. Also, they now know she can be impulsive, starting an action without thinking it all the way through, then changing her mind based on feelings that override her better judgement. These are all exploitable weaknesses! :)
