Let me first express my gratitude to everyone who's stuck around for this long supporting me from the sidelines. If I didn't know I had so many people expecting what I produce I probably would have given up on this project a while ago.
Finally presenting the long awaited next installment in Spanquest 2: RE. The version 0.122 again is a rough judgement of the percentage of the game I've completed compared to what I imagine the final version will be. Therefore, this number accurately represents that this current version features approximately 1/8th of the game, specifically the first town in its (near) entirety.
The time between the last two updates hasn't been ideal, and for me has been unacceptable. Because at the rate I have been going I would finish this project in 3-4 years which is definitely not how I want things to continue. Thankfully I believe that at this point the game is now at a solid state that won't have grand changes to its mechanics and the more complicated systems have already been developed. The last few weeks of work for the game have all been dialogue and scripting of events, with no more gameplay elements requiring my attention. This hopefully means that development will be faster in the future, as I'll only need to devote my time to more creative aspects of the game like art and writing.
However I also still fully intend to follow through with my 1 month break after this release. I'll be sure to update things slowly on my own time during this break, but I won't have my full attention on SQ2 during that time. I'm planning on spending my time on other personal projects which may or may not be relevant enough to post on this patreon page, such as art projects and another game which I've been planning for quite a while but isn't spanking themed.
For now, I hope you enjoy this next package of content for SQ2:RE. The game should be fairly free of major bugs this time around thanks to the diligent eyes of some tester friends, but as always let me know either in the comments or a private message any bugs you encounter. I'd also love to hear your general impressions and suggestions on the content of the game, as looking at a project through the eyes of a creator can obscure what might be evident to a player.
