Remington M1903A4 Sniper at the Range (ad-free)

Today we are taking the Remington M1903A4 out to the range for some shooting. This was the standard US sniper rifle during World War Two, and I'm curious to see how one actually handles...

Is your helmet on backwards?

Brian Saunders

Yeah that is not a US helmet. Good effort though. Love your videos Ian.

could have something to do with that steel pot on your brain housing group... take that thing off in the sun damned! 125 is REAL sniper long range. of course. it is one pretty rifle. small scope or not.

I noticed this too -- it looks to me like a French Modele 1951 'OTAN' helmet. The rim of the French helmet is flatter, and the crown is almost invariably dented from use driving tent pegs. http://msgrenot.free.fr/modele_1951.htm

I think it would be better to show the effects down range than you shooting it.

Great presentation and especially like the US uniform!! Is that a standard M1 helmet? It looks a little different.
