Lynx Brutality 2023 Day 1 - Kettlebells and Electrocution (ad-free)
Added 2023-06-09 12:00:04 +0000 UTCIt's time for Lynx Brutality 2023! Polenar Tactical presented this match again at the Lynx Pro Training Center in Slovenia, and they outdid themselves. It was a really excellent match, with both great physical challenges and good shooting challenges, well run and with a group of shooters who were uniformly fun and friendly.
I ran this year with a low-profile sort of rig - Varusteleka's new Low Visibility Plate Carrier, elastic cummerbund magazine pouches, an Arex Delta L pistol borrowed form Polenar and a Rerun X16 rifle borrowed form Tinck Arms (its manufacturer). Both guns ran perfectly, I am happy to report, using Sellier & Bellot ammo.
The first five stages today include Electric Boogaloo, which is seriously in the running for best Brutality match stage yet... :)

Several of the bays were too short to safely shoot rifle on steel.

2023-06-10 15:25:27 +0000 UTCCurious as to why they went with paper over steel targets. Seems like steel would have been easier to score. Also, I feel that to call it "Lynx Brutality' a GM6 Lynx should be the long gun ;-)

2023-06-09 20:34:52 +0000 UTCOpen division allows basically any gear, as opposed to Armored and Irons divisions. Armored requires a minimum gear weight and also water, knife, and some other stuff (it's copied from the Finnish reservist requirements) so I was in Open despite using armor.
