Last month, I picked up Kory Dance, a Mexican Ballerina, at the airport, drew to the studio and shot for some hours, and drove her back to the airport afterward as she was leaving for Barcelona.
I would have loved more time and the opportunity to shoot outdoors.
I mean a fiery-looking (but lovely) Ballerina with little to no inhibitions who loves to project her sensual side in images:
What’s not to like?
We shot on the floor, just in front of my sofa (see yesterday's post), where I limited the direct sun, again diffused with some frosted foil, by adjusting my blinds. I love this constricted light. Also, photographically, it’s interesting to have specific limitations: This is where you have light, so what can you do with your model within this space?
Do you like to constrict yourself when photographing?
