On black holes and quantum physics

This was not my best photographic session (photographically): Capella came straight from an exam (in fluid dynamics if you must know), and we had limited time.
But we also ended up talking for a couple of hours; she’s studying to be an astrophysicist, has a tattoo related to quantum mechanics on her forearm, and we had some fascinating discussions about how mass can dissociate from black holes, superstring theory, inflatable universes, etc.
I always profess to be a nerd, but I admit defeat here :D
Light-wise, it’s natural light from my two studio windows. I did a lot of moving the sofa around to get the light to strike right; when you can’t move the light source, you can move the object instead.
