More coloured pencils, more Critical Role (sorry ;))
Added 2022-03-30 16:24:54 +0000 UTCEasing further into coloured pencils! I bought a nice set of Prismacolor-like ones (from Castle Art) that are really fine, and I've discovered that I own a coloured pencil blender, so that's where the smoooooth texture comes from. ;)
The character, for those who don't know Critical Role, is of course Caduceus Clay, a Firbolg Cleric who makes tea from dead people and is generally adorable. And who was an excuse to use colours and things I have NEVER used in art before (pink, mohawks, and cow noses). Whew!
So yes, coloured pencils are a BLAST and I will do SO MUCH MORE with these! It's nice to have my desk cluttered again, and my fingertips (and sleeves) covered in an assortment of pigments.

I adore Caduceus and his dead people tea so very very much. He’s such a calm and grounded/grounding character in the midst of a bunch of broken, suspicious people. I also appreciate his strong, quiet faith in the Wildmother.
