The Sixth School. Book Two, Chapter 021.

Hi guys,

Here is Book Two, Chapter Twenty One.

11.7K words and I still don't feel like I put down everything that I could have. If I fleshed out the battle to fully match the picture I had in my head, it probably would have been about 30K words.😂 Still, I did my best to condense it in a manner that made sense. I hope you guys enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Enjoy.

Regards,

Wow, that's amazing. Your coworker sounds incredible. I, by the unending Grace of God, have a more standard life arch. I'm Kenyan (not Ethiopian). Born to two parents who really loved me. One of six, 4 brothers, 2 sisters. We were never that rich in terms of material wealth, but by the same token, we weren't that poor either. We always had a roof over our head and food to eat. (I'm not sure if that's what you'd call middle class or just upper lower class 😂). it was changed in 2019, but back then we had an 8-4-4 system of education. 8 years in Primary school, 4 years in high school, and 4 years in university. Finished university back in 2018. I studied psychology, but the job market being what it is, never really got to use the degree. Started my little electronics store and survived with that. As for writing, I've always had a fascination with stories. I started writing back in my first year of high school (2009). Back then I would actually use pen and paper. I'd buy a 200 page, A4 exercise book and used it to tell the stories I had playing out in my imagination. Of course, the first things I wrote were abominable😂 in terms of quality or skill. But I found that I enjoy doing it, so I kept at it. I wish I'd kept those books, but sadly, I never thought much of them. I'd write, fill up a book, and move on to the next without much thought to the last. Now, years later, I am more refined at this. Far from perfect, but getting better gradually. Fun fact about me: I learned my English from watching cartoons as a kid! I loved, and I mean LOVED, cartoons. Ed, Edd, and Eddy, power puff girls, Ben 10, Courage the cowardly dog, and so on. I'd sit in front of the TV for 2 hours everyday watching them. Back then they used to show from 3pm to 5pm, Saturdays they'd play in the morning, from 8am to 12, so I always looked forward to that. Sundays, I'd be at church so I didn't know if there were cartoons in the morning or not. Rest of the time I'd be out playing in the dirt.😂

i had to re-read the chapter again. Man you are a fantastic writer. I'm curious as to your education. One of my co-workers is from Ethiopia and he had an extremely difficult upbringing. Abandoned by his father at age 6 to fend for himself, he ended up in an orphanage. He worked washing trash cans and dishes wherever he could. Finding uneaten food that he would bring back to the orphanage for him and his friends to get some additional food. It created a highly motivated man in the end, someone willing to do whatever it took to make his way in life. Fortunately for him, he excelled in school and managed to get into a university in Moscow, getting his degree in chemistry. Then he made his ay to New York on a student visa and attended NYU, getting his PhD in Chemistry. Landed a job working for DOW chemical and allowed him to eventually become a citizen. He is one of the most brilliant scientists I have ever worked with and a wonderful Human Being. Funny as they come too. I still cant make any sense of that language they speak, some form of Coptic. It just doesn't even sound like words to me. I see that same driven determination in you and your writing. you have a fantastic grasp of the English language and sound like a highly educated person. So I am just curious about your background.,
