Reasonably productive week in spite of our AC problems. Those are solved by the way, and my office is cooler than ever, despite the last few days being the hottest of the year (today my weather station showed temps reached 110.8°F, or 43.8°C at my house).

Had some interesting problems to solve and had to do some "kit-bashing" to create a master bedroom suite for Olivia's penthouse hotel suite which took a lot of time. Kit bashing means creating something in 3D by mixing "a little of this and a little of that" and combining and modifying them creatively to get what you want. My 3D skills definitely grew this week! I am now right on the cusp of having to create what will probably be my hardest animation yet. I hope I can do it, and I hope it won't mean it takes so much time that I won't have any stills to share next week!

I bought a set of tutorial videos last week created by a guy named Dartan Beck - an experienced CGI artist who's created some amazing animations he claims were done almost exclusively with Daz Studio! He shares his workflow and tricks... so hopefully that will pay off and I can git 'er done! The animation is of Olivia lifting the MC and throwing him into the pool... this might sound familiar, as it's very similar to the one I'd planned to do with Kerren and the MC in chapter 2 and couldn't complete. So wish me luck!
