Release 2, Scene 3 Update and AI Voice News

So here are some recent renders. This is an unusual scene, as the only main character in it is the MC himself. But it's necessary to set up the rest of this release and events to follow.

I've spent a great deal of time working with this new programmer helping me get this phone texting system working. Looks like it's very close. In fact it seems to me like it's basically complete, since I've seen virtually everything I need function already in the demos. Well, the only thing I haven't really seen is the use of emojis, but I think he'll get that - I've seen it used in other code, and we have access to the code that makes it work. This scene (and the next one) has a few props that don't really exist anywhere I could find, so I've had to make them myself, which takes a little time.

There's something coming up with regard to voice AI that excites me. ElevenLabs has just opened up alpha access to Eleven English v2, which adds the following:

Much better at conversational speech
Better at accents
Speech will be more variable (meaning, I think: natural)

You have to request access for this, which I did immediately, so I'm waiting for that to open up to play with it and see how I can improve the AI voices (virtually all voices but Olivia's, which is a human).

This week I should be able to get image renders pumping out faster again.

EDIT: Oh damn that's funny - I forgot to mention that I also wrote a huge chunk of phone text history between the MC and Nina! 22 pages worth, going all the way back to just before the early beginnings of the Change. It's STILL less than half a year, and I've got over 2 years to cover, though the number of messages in this early period is likely to be pretty high compared to the rest of that timespan - might end up being about half of the text history. It covers the MC cheating on Nina as well as other things.
