TAG Chapter 2 Progress: Update #8

A part of me wishes I never wrote this billiards scenario. The reason for that is that it's damn hard to make a game of pool visually interesting. I finally decided that i needed to show some ball motion on the table so it wasn't a complete snooze-fest, so I went back and added some motion blur to a couple images (the only ones where it made sense). Then when I wrote the script for the current scene, I planned it so that every image where Kerren takes a shot is an action shot. This helps create the sense that she just completely out-classes our MC, but also makes it a little less boring. I also found that it's kind of difficult in Photoshop to create motion blur effects that clearly show the path of balls on the table. Oh well, hopefully it's not as bad as I think.

In any case as you can see, scene 2 is done. I've written the scripts for scenes 3 and 4 and have just started on the renders for scene 3. Fortunately there aren't too many billiards images, because most of those require extensive Photoshop work to add the motion blur and effects. For some ungodly reason, Kerren's cute little thumb ring keeps flying off her hand when I re-pose her for the next image, and 3 or 4 times now I didn't notice it. I rendered those images then wondered what the hell that thing was floating in mid-air in the image. Then suddenly realized it was her damn thumb-ring and had to re-render the image!
