TAG Chapter 1 Progress: Update #26

Here are two renders from this new scene. I'm a bit frustrated right now with how slow these latest renders have been. When an image (actually called a scene in 3D world, though that's confusing since I've been using "scene" the same way it's used in a play or movie) is too large, your graphics card can't fit it all in it's memory. In that case, your computer has to fall back and render it the only way it can: using your CPU instead of your graphics card. CPU rendering is S-L-O-W beyond belief. All my renders so far in this new scene have been with the CPU... and I've tried every trick in the book to shrink them to fit onto my graphics card. Nothing has been enough. Ugh. How I would kill for that upgraded graphics card. But I've gotta wait until it's feasible. And funded.

Anyway, it IS exciting to be getting close to Olivia's introduction! I'll console myself with that for now. This lady (in the second image) is "Cynthia from Accounting" for those of you who have read the text story.

Its kind of strange, but some of you may have noticed that the still render number for this scene jumped from 20 last week to 36, shown below. I did add two stills to this scene since last week, but not 36. I must have been tired or something because I vastly undercounted. Must have missed a page in the script. Anyway, 36 is the correct, current number

Hopefully you noticed the other post I made recently about files being available now on Google Drive. I had thought/hoped that it could work whether you had a Google account or not, but unfortunately that's not so. There don't seem to exist any file sharing services that allow the data owner to grant/rescind access to individual users without also requiring those users to have an account with the service. That's too bad, but at least Google is likely to be the service that the largest number of you already have accounts for, since I assume that most of you have YouTube accounts, and/or a gmail address. I am open to suggestions though if any of you have a better suggestion!
