TAG Chapter 1 Progress: Update #23
Added 2022-03-16 07:18:28 +0000 UTCThe image above is the last still in scene 5. I completed the scripts for scenes 6 and 7. Didn't get any actual renders done, since these scenes require creating whole new environments, which takes time. You probably saw my last post, showing the Doppler Financial building. Since scene 6 includes the MC driving past a crowd of protestors (men protesting the Change... what else?) there's a lot of background work to set that up. Adding many human figures to scenes is very hard on computer resources (meaning that anything above about 5-6 normal figures like you see in my stills is impossible without tricks). So I spent some time figuring out how to do it and come up with a system I think will work well. I also created the graphics for 19 separate protest signs, with appropriate slogans and typical sloppy artwork you'd see on non-professional signs.
No animations in scene 6, though the last item in scene 7 is a simple animation: the MC knocking on his bosses' office door for the big meeting.
