TAG Chapter 1 Progress: Update #19

No new renders since Friday, but a crapload of "Nina hair fix" renders done. Got a batch of 4 rendering now, and when they're done I'll have completed 21 of them, which is half of the 42 that need to be re-done. The image above is one of the ones with replaced hair.

Also instituted a couple things to improve efficiency:

1) Using a product called "Scene Optimizer" that helps me improve each image so it renders in less time. Some renders have taken as long as 10 hours so far, but with this product I think a "10 hour" render would take closer to 2-3 hours.

2) Using another product to queue up multiple files to render in a batch while I sleep. This makes the PC more available during the day to create more stills.

Some of you may notice that I've added a goal to this page. I'm using a pretty darn good graphics card in my PC now, but there's a better one that from what I can see should increase my output by nearly double. But it ain't cheap! Right now, prices of these cards is driven over MSRP because they also happen to be used to "mine" cryptocurrencies, so the demand is crazy high. One of these cards at current prices will set me back about $2,600. I'm willing to pay $1,600 out of my own pocket toward that, but I'm hoping to make the remaining $1,000 through this page. So any fees you guys pay each month (Thank you!) from now on will just sit there until it reaches $1,000 at which point I'll buy the card. Unfortunately Patreon doesn't allow you to set a goal based on accumulated fees, only based on monthly, so the goal "target amount" probably won't be completely accurate.
