50k Subscribers Poll!

Hello, generous patrons. The channel recently hit 50,000 subscribers!

The last milestone video I did was at 10k, where I did a Twitter poll and ended up making a video about 5 games that changed my life. That was a fun one to make, and it seemed to resonate with people, so let's do another personal peek behind the scenes for 50k!

Patrons get exclusive access to this poll, where you can decide which option I go with. Let me explain them all in a bit more detail:

Top Favorite Video games is pretty self-explanatory; a list of the games I love. Probably either 10 or 20 of them, in no particular order (because I can never decide among some of my favorites).

The Making of a Games as Lit. 101 Video is also fairly self-explanatory; I'll detail the whole process, from how I play games in preparation for an analysis to how I write the scripts to how I film and edit them. An in-depth look at how I make these videos for people interested in doing similar styles of video essays.

The Games that Led Me to Think Critically About Games might be a little similar to the 10k video, but it would have a different focus. Specifically, the games I played (in the order I played them) that advanced my interest in and understanding of video games as a storytelling medium. It would basically be an autobiographical account of how I came to love video game storytelling and eventually make this series, with a focus on the games that played important roles along the way.

And finally, my ten favorite games from the last ten years. This would basically just eliminate all the classics in my favorites list to highlight recent games that I loved enough to put on my list of all-timers. If you like the idea of a favorites list but want something a bit more specific than just a top 10, this might be a good option.
