Update
Added 2020-03-12 13:59:06 +0000 UTCOkay, dear readers, here's the deal: I was sent home from work early because I was coughing so much I was driving everyone in the office insane, and when I got home, sick, sleep-deprived, and just generally feeling like crap, I was welcomed by the The Simulacrum dropping by more than ten ranks on RoyalRoad because of one guy writing one single negative review. I might not exactly be in the right mindset for this, but fuck it, I don't care at the moment, so:
-No public releases until I built up at least four chapters' worth of backlog. I was planning on this anyway, and this incident was pretty much the last push I needed, so I'm going through with it now.
-I'm going to keep releasing things on Patreon as usual, then once the quota is met, we are going to switch over to a new tier system:
--5$ = 1 chapter
--10$ = 2 chapters
--20$= 3+ chapters ahead of public release.
In short, it won't really affect you guys that much, I just wanted you to know. Also, the second part of the current chapter should be finished soon-ish, and afterwards, I won't be sticking to the bi-weekly schedule (not that I could manage to do so lately), instead I will upload the parts as they are done.
That's all, stay safe, be sure not to panic too much over the coronavirus, and most importantly, have a nice day.

Anyway, just to say, take care and don't let that review bring you down...

You're a pretty good amateur author (Yes, amateur. You were starting out, but despite that, this is really solid.) and I hope to see you get even better.
