QUESTION: “At 47 years old, I am amazed that no matter how many inner conflicts I confront, more arise. At times, I feel exhausted by my inner life and struggles, and quite frankly, defeated. What advice can you give when the onslaught of inner and outer life are just too much, no matter how much attention is given and years of serious psychological practices have been cultivated. I so appreciate your insight on the complexity of the human condition.”
