A CR 4 Monster; the Eyb'Dollen
Added 2022-01-13 00:36:55 +0000 UTCContinuing my line of strange aberrations based off of human emotions/psychology, I give to you the Eyb'Dollen! A carnal creature based off of instinct, adrenaline, chasing, and brutality; the Eyb'Dollen is one of the most violent and animalistic out of the Kabni!
Although it may not be as intelligent as the Gauntmare, it still has its share of strange psychic abilities, manifesting through its ability to carry enchantment through its mutterings; forcing creatures to succumb to strange instinct.
This creature has heavy inspirations in body-horror, and the little prose in the beginning may give you some guidelines on how to introduce this monstrosity to creep out some of your players!
Although this may not be as integral or interesting as the Unshackled or Gauntmare in setting up story arcs, putting a few of these bad boys in a closed space with loads of places to hide and ceilings to climb on, you can definitely get yourself a horror-inspired combat encounter!
