Laying out my batch of silk screened prints. It's like holding potential money. I hope it turns into real money.

That's why I never draw for fun, there's something in my brain that screams at me that the only reason I should create art is if it's something I'm going to use for profit. Which is bullshit. Bullshit! Hopefully starting up regular life drawing classes will help me break that way of thinking. Y'know, give me a structure for drawing but completely divorced of trying to Make Sell-able Pictures.

It'd be nice to draw for fun again.

Today I bought clothes to go with my gold leggings because I really want to wear them to Stumptown because oh man wouldn't that be awesome to wear something totally flashy and ridiculous?

At first I was really excited about the things I bought but Matt thinks they look too ridiculous and tacky :-/

So now my dress-ridiculous boner is totally stomped and I probably won't even wear the leggings to Stumptown at all because my feelings are so hurt.

Working my table at the Stumptown Comics Fest. After attending every single one since it debuted in 2004, I was incredibly honored to be one of their Special Guests this year. This is a huge milestone for me.
