(In 2011, at the age of 27, I kept a daily photo diary, and now, seven years later, I am serializing it here on Patreon.)

The Comics at the Opera event organizer told me she is trying to start a movement where women stash cuppa'wines in their purses so they're ready wherever they go.
She, Tally and I snuck out to her car ("The Toyota Bar") during intermission of the dress rehearsal to grab another glass each. Julia insisted we had to keep our pinkies out, to keep it classy. I mean, this IS the opera, after all.
It's a good life.

This is me, waking up right before fully falling asleep, remembering that I hadn't taken my 365 photo yet, and taking this picture.

Tired.

Waiting for the train to pass, by the Eastbank Esplande. Right here, on Google Maps.
Every day I'm wrestling with my brain. It's not as bad as it has been in the last month, but it's never easy either. Every thought has to be evaluated to tell if it's one of my own or depression speaking. At least, I assume this is depression? I don't know. I feel guilty even thinking about it. My life is so good, so good, I feel incredibly selfish and spoiled feeling this sad and defeated all the time for no reason.
Shut up, brain.

Tonight was the final official Cartoonists At The Opera night, with the production of L'Heure Espagnole and L'Enfant et Les Sortileges-- the former of the two was, by far, my most favorite performance because it combined so many of my favorite things. French, sex, comedy, gorgeous costumes, great set designs... Don't get me wrong, the second was really great too, but that first one--!
Dylan was my lovely date for the evening (she took this photo, even!), it was so nice to spend some outside-the-studio time with her. We've both changed a lot over the last decade, but she's still my closest friend. She's one of the very few people I consider to be family. No matter what the next decade throws at us two, we will always be there for each other.
I mean, without her, who would take paparazzi pictures of me at the opera that I use for my 365 Daily Photo Project? Really, think about it.
