[Progress Report]: 22nd of August

Hey everyone,

I want to start by addressing an unfortunate bug (?) in the game. Riley is missing a hint that directs you to the garage for Artemisia's events from the previous version update. So, if you're stuck in the story, please make sure that you're caught up with Artemisia by visiting her in the morning and clicking on either her or the suit.

I had the hints in, but I must have saved an older version of that file which overrode the changes. I didn't notice it until the bug reports started coming in because it doesn't block progression. If you've been playing the game from update to update, you've likely not encountered this either.

I'll be putting out an update for the game either tonight or tomorrow - I've been having some internet trouble which is making a long upload very difficult, as when it cuts out I have to start over. It's a simple fix, and is actually already done. It's just a matter of getting it onto the cloud. I say tomorrow because if it doesn't work tonight, I'll just head out to McDonalds and bum off their WiFi for a while. It's not very fast, but I just need it to work.

Other than that, development on the game continues! This version is supposed to focus on Dectective Keegan, her daughter Josie, and Artemisia. This is also the version update I'd like to start adding them into the Hint system, and their events will also start featuring, which will help prevent problems like the one above from arising again. 

I'm not sure how long the menu changes will take, but I'm confident I can have it finished before the next release.

I know that many of you have been wondering when the protagonist's powers will be fully explained, and that some of you are starting to worry that it will be at the very end of the game. I can promise you now that this is not the case. The protagonist's powers will be revealed in full just a bit after we reach what I call the "midpoint" of the story. Relatively speaking. You've received several hints thus far, but the full picture will come into view around that point. I can't promise a hard and fast date because I don't want to break those promises. Some events take longer than others, and several stories need to progress before we even hit the midpoint event. 

I feel bad about this whole situation, honestly. Even though circumstances didn't permit me as much time as I wanted to work on Version 0.875, I feel like I left you all with a buggy mess and put the story in a strange spot. Maybe I really should have delayed the release. I don't know. I'm trying to get back in the saddle, guys. It's just taking me longer than I thought it would.
