Hey everyone!

Version 0.85 is finally done! The early version is currently uploading and so I expect it to be up and ready to play for my early release patrons in about an hour or two depending on how badly my ISP throttles my internet speed.

It's been a long time since I've done an update like this. There are seven new events total, but two of those events are "patrol-sized" and have the content of effectively two events. I still wish I had gotten more out, but the new characters really demanded a lot of time. It took about two weeks to finish them, but I'm very pleased with how they look and their personalities. You'll know them when you see them!

This was a quantum leap forward in terms of story progression. You'll receive some big hints as to plots that have been ongoing since the game's start (such as the protagonist's powers) as well as the foundation of what will be the core story in Act II. There will also be a big push for a character that doesn't have a lot of spotlight, but will in the future.

Oh! Before I leave here, I wanted to address a question I got in my inbox. One of you asked, "Why do the animations look different compared to the images?" This actually has to do with the compression used to turn the raw MP4 files into Webm file format. If I don't do this, the size of the game would almost double. It's an unfortunate compromise, and I'm always looking for a better process, but for now that's what I have.

That's it for me this week! I need to go recuperate - I actually sprained my ankles (yes, both of them) something fierce and I'm going to lay down until the upload finishes.
