Haha, oh jeez, I've been avoiding this comic since we launched four years ago. "How do I know if I'm ready for sex?" (and variations of that question) is one of our most frequently requested topics and it's... it's a hard one! Hence my avoidance. BUT. No more dodging it. Here's our INTRODUCTORY stab at this subject. 2017-10-31 23:48:28 +0000 UTCI appreciate this comic so much. My teenager isn't sure if she's asexual or just picky, and feels a bit like a weirdo when so many of her friends are sexually active. I also think it's so important that people know that there are so many ways to be sexual - by yourself and with others - that don't carry risks of STIs or pregnancy. Public school sex education is pathetic in that area, even in our super liberal part of the country.

2017-10-31 13:11:07 +0000 UTCI really appreciate that you covered that some people don't have sex at all and that's okay; Scarleteen's info sometimes leaves me out in the cold because it never seems to mention asexuality (for example one article listed sexual orientation as 'being into woman, men, or both/all'). Asexuals have sex too, on top of that, and can really need this sort of practical advice! So framing this info the way you did is really appreciated.
