September 16, Scripting and layout

I disagreed, until I saw the edits he gave me back and then it was like 'Oh. Oh yeah, this is what I was going for in the first place' Except for the ending. Neither of us could quite stick the closing remarks, so that still needs some work. I think I have a pretty solid joke, but Matt's afraid it'll offend people but I think if you're offended by it then you're not the kinda person who should be reading my comic because our senses of humor are clearly not in alignment.
Today should have been a penciling day, but I'm behind schedule so it's just a working-on-the-script and importing-the-text-on-to-the-page-template day instead.
Ever since Matt and I went to visit his family, I've fallen way, way, way behind on the managerial stuff. My inbox is a disaster, my receipts are unsorted, my business expenses aren't properly labeled. I've got about a month and half of business tidying I need to catch up on and the longer I wait, the larger it grows.
We just got a houseguest from New Zealand who'll be staying with us for the next week. I'm so excited to finally meet my longtime internet friend! But this will probably also delay me in getting the comic done in a timely fashion.
Next week. I'll get my shit on track next week.
