August 25, penciling & last minute changes

But at the last minute, I realized I'd missed out on a really obvious opportunity to synch a visual joke back up to an earlier mention, so I had to re-draw the final panel.
This was my first day getting back in the saddle of writing a script again (the script for tomorrow's comic was written before I went on my trip) and hoooooo boy that was rough.
I wrote the first draft and gave it to Matt.
He gently suggested I start over from scratch and incorporate in some other stuff.
I gave him my second draft and then he offered to just write it himself.
But even after all that, I'm not completely in love with his script either! I think my second script and his script are about on par, and neither one is particularly good :-/
HAROOOOOOOOO.
Well, they can't all be winners, I guess?
