-Danielle Corsetto of Girls With Slingshots (www.girlswithslingshots.com) is on a cross-country book-signing tour and she stayed with Matt and me for her Portland stop.
-On Saturday Lucy Bellwood (www.lucybellwood.com) and I got to piggyback on Danielle's book signing at Bridge City Comics, which was a big ball of positivity and cash dollars.
-Saturday-Sunday I finished getting the comic inked and colored. You guys, I really, really, really love drawing pole dancers. Like, 4 reals.
Quick Bullet Points Today Update:
-Next comic is scripted. It's another word-heavy one, but I think people will like it. Matt did a fantastic job toning done some of my more academic talk into regular-people-talk, and I think he's a genius.
-Got the four guest comics formatted to run on the site (plopped them into the OJST web template so they're one long scrolling image, wrote little intros), all that's left is to draw the little Erikas at the top next to the intro text.
-Printer reports the proof for the OJST book should be arriving in two days.
-Matt knocked out back payments to most of the original guest artists. Still waiting to hear back from six of them about whether they prefer check or PayPal.
-Worked on travel plans for my September trip to New York for my OJST art show in Babeland and my friend's wedding.
We leave the country this Saturday.
I hope I can get my hair cut before then.
