Thank you for the reaction !!! By fake they meant, it's not a perfect stone, it's like a replicate, work like an original, but at what cost!

Ehh, I disagree with that notion. It has nothing to do with anime being less based in reality, that's just a symptom of the world itself. For example Avatar is pretty heavily based in reality(though of course it isn't anime but it's close enough.) The powers require physical fitness and mental fortitude to execute, just the same as if you were fighting. In point of fact, since they're based on martial arts they very literally *are* fighting. You could take away the bending and the fights would still be the same. My Hero Academia is fairly based in reality too, more so than other shows. In other anime, someone is allowed to be super strong and there's no problem with it, but in MHA if your body isn't built for it then you can literally destroy it with your superpower, as we constantly see in it. I also disagree with the dub vs sub thing. Plenty of people prefer dubs over subs, and they're still able to be engrossed in the world. They jsut prefer hearing something in their native language, as is only common. The whole reason that subs became mainstream is because of elitists that tried to gatekeep the format and make it seem as though if you don't watch it in Japanese then you're somehow lesser. The hilarious part about it is that even Japanese people look down at this notion, because why in the world WOULDN'T you watch soemthing in your native tongue? Unless you're trying to learn the language, there's no reason to watch it in a format that you don't understand. Furthermore Japanese people admit that Japanese voice acting is pretty ridiculous and exaggerated, so the constant lie we hear about them having more emotion is just that: a lie. They don't have more emotion, they're just louder. The voices also rarely fit the character when it comes to Japanese voice acting. Take Goku as a prime example: It isn't immersive at all to see a tall, ripped, 40 year old monkey alien sound like a little gremlin, yet that's how Goku sounds in Japanese.

I think you guys are starting to see why anime is so refreshing to watch - you are introduced to a new world with new laws and rules, and just go along for the ride. It is difficult to pull off in real life shows because they're usually based on reality. There are "super natural" elements like magic, superpowers etc, but they're still heavily based on the real world. In anime, it feels like we're watching a parallel universe at times. Which is why, in my opinion, western audiences subconsciously are more immersed when watching subbed. Aside from the good voice acting, it feels like you're watching something that exists elsewhere since you don't understand the language. Though when the dub is good, it is alot more relaxing to watch because you won't miss out on any key dialogue.
