I actually really liked this movie. I grew up watching the first one countless times. The only thing I dislike is that we don’t get much of Delores.

2025-01-27 04:50:39 +0000 UTCI loved that Tim Burton kept the same essence of the first movie with stop-motion animation and the makeup style, not too many digital effects like in other films. For me, stop-motion is something very characteristic of Tim Burton. You should watch the movie Corpse Bride, another film I highly recommend and I know you'll like, although it’s a bit different, is Big Fish. I’m sure you’ll love it. By the way, the fact that the part about Lydia’s dad’s death was also animated is because they couldn’t get the same actor due to legal issues. Also, the reason the same ghosts from the first movie didn’t appear is that ghosts never age, so it would’ve been a bit complicated to have the same actors, although with the new rejuvenation effects, I guess it wouldn't have been so hard, haha

On another note I wanted to comment on the uncut. I see you guys say the uncut is for testing purposes. You've been doing them for a while so not sure what you're testing, but there's another reaction channel on Patreon that everything they do is uncut. I've actually liked watching the uncut stuff a lot more because it's nice to have that freedom to easily pause it and get a drink or something. When you're syncing two streams it can be a bit of a juggle although I have perfected it pretty well not to toot my own horn, also it's been real nice not having to rent the movies which I know, that sounds terrible saying it. But hey, it is a lot smaller in your case, in the other channel's case their webcam takes up 1/4 of the movie LOL so whenever a character is on that side they're blocked by the webcam. But yea no preference here just thought I would give you my thoughts on that.

A lot of the older audience who were alive during the time or near the time of the first one HATED this movie. But you guys could have also just loved it lol. Personally even as a 06 baby the original was watched over and over in our home and I enjoyed it in the theater and was crying and laughing the whole way through. A lot of the negative from this movie narrows down to folks who just wanted the original and the fact that there were so many storylines in it. All and all. I’m so glad you guys enjoyed this film and should definitely check out the musical!🤍
