Suppose you guys remember in the first few episodes when Light took out the biker guy with the truck and confirmed the death notes power. In that case, he was having an inner conflict about taking their lives. When Ryuk came to Earth Light explained to him that there was something about the Death Note that made humans want to try it at least once. It became almost like an addiction to Light, exactly how Ryuk became addicted to apples. What do you guys think about how Light is now behaving when he is not under the influence of the Death Note? Do you guys believe he was corrupted by the use of the Death Note or that the evil was In him all along?
