If you are doing more animated films soon, I would love to see Princess and the Frog!

Katie Madsen

Glad to watch this again. It's been a while 🩵 You guys should check out Elemental. It's a more recent Pixar film, and the animation is amazing.

Jenny D

Yes absolutely I have always screamed from the rooftops that animation is a MEDIUM and you can tell an infinite amount of deep stories in it. I’m so glad they watched Soul !

YanaBente

This movie is such a gem, it sucks it didn't get a theatrical release due to Covid :/

Emma Eugene

Wow cannot believe I never watched this before. So glad I did, absolutely amazing

Katie

Giving up on a dream when you're decently talented is actually way harder than when you're not at all. I feel you, Oak.

Butthats

Love it 😍 great movie 🎥

Love10 ❤️

Yes Onward 👏

Alanna Banana 🍌

This movie gave me a panic attack the first time I watched it😭 Please watch Onward next!

Shanelle

WOW I was not expecting such a crazy premise.. this was wayyy different than I expected. some of the best lessons iv seen come out of a animation. this was refreshing.

Crispin

I KNEW Oak was gonna cry during this!!! I got emotional too 😭😭😭 it hits deep Ps- can't wait for Brother Bear!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Amanda Garten

First, Diamond Dave I completely felt along with you during the grate sceen. Every time I see it it makes my teeth grit together. It's my own irrational fear (that I have a totally rational reason for 😆). Answer I'm glad you mentioned the helicopter, they used it as a metaphor. She actually saw a real one the first time she went outside terrified. I'm sad you guys didn't watch who did the music since it was so big for the movie. Jon Batiste did the jazz arrangements is such an amazing musician/ composer! I can't recommend his music and Netflix documentary enough. He a won an Oscar, BAFTA, and a Golden Globe for SOUL. 🩷💛💙

LaLa

One thing I absolutely love as you guys continue to watch animated films/shows is seeing you all come to understand that animation is a medium, not a genre. So many people put all animation into the same corner, even you guys not too long ago! But it's so exciting that after things like ATLA, Attack on Titan, Puss in Boots, and so many other pieces of excellent animated content, it's starting to click. Once you get past that barrier a whole new world of media opens up to you.

DahGecko

Ooh. I get home tomorrow night. Can’t wait to watch!

Ami

Such a good film 🥹

Alanna Banana 🍌

Great Reaction Keep living every minute , we only get one life but we all have a soul ;)

Patience

After we cut the camera we saw that Trent Reznor was part of the score. Pretty cool to see.

Badd Medicine

Cant wait to watch it once im back from vacation next week!

AyaaChann

Yeah I cried to this one of best Pixar films they done in awhile

Official Backwoodz Logan

You guys should check out "If I Stay" if you want to be hit again emotionally, it has a similar plot but live action and not comedy

Alexander Alayon Jr

Atticus Ross and Trent Reznor (NIN/How to Destroy Angels) did an absolutely beautiful job on the score for this one. Absolutely adore them both 🖤

Yen Shively

I. Am. So. Excited. Waited for this for so long!!! Let’s goooooo 💪

Yen Shively

This is one of those movies that can cut through a depression fog and remind you what it was like to enjoy life.

Lena

I think that’s why it’s so underrated. It’s different than people expect so they don’t think they like it that much. But I have seen so many people fall completely in love with it the second time. Cinema Therapy has a great reaction to it on YouTube. It was a rewatch for them and they thought it was just okay the first time. But the second time they were blown away by it. Truly a wildly underrated movie. One of Pixar’s best.

shaneth138

He’s in a relationship with a girl I went to highschool with. I see him around town all the time. Such a positive spirit and nice guy. Insanely talented.

shaneth138

Another highly underrated Pixar film.

shaneth138

I have heard so many people say similar things about this movie. I think it’s one of those movies that is different than you expect the first time, so it feels underwhelming. The more you watch it, the more you realize that’s it’s actually one of Pixar’s best of the last 10 years.

shaneth138

The most underrated Pixar film.

shaneth138

There was a scene where 22 is being born back on earth through her eyes. Not sure if it was a post credit scene.

George Roybal

The reaction and after movie review that I didn't know that I needed. I am in tears. Good tears. Thank You.

Shirlene Wright

It just brings so much! I love how it mixes DND with the real world. And I love the brotherly love lol

BugBite23

I think one of my greatest moments (besides having my kids) is starting an art club in my high school. It was the very first art club and that school was rough and poorly funded but I pushed for it when I was just a sophomore and I accomplished it. I created a safe space for students to come after school and express themselves through art. I managed to get together with local art stores and pottery places and even the Renaissance festival and our club helped create things and gained a following. It's been a long time but I'm now going back to college to get an art degree and I'm having a blast learning more while loving the firsts that my kids experience. I mean watching kids experience life at a young age is truly amazing. Everything is exciting and new and fun ❤️ Art is my passion, but spreading happiness is my purpose.

BugBite23

I was lucky enough to see it in theatres in March of 2020 before lockdown and it’s to this day one of my favourite Pixar movies 💜

Alanna Banana 🍌

It’s from Red Dead Redemption, the video game.

Alanna Banana 🍌

Random, but is your profile pic from a movie/show?

Dee

That was definitely Jamie singing. The Jamie Foxx show is where I learned how great his voice is. I like animated movies, but they're not at the top of my list to watch; however, my favorite and one I hope you guys watch at some point is Legend of the Guarans: The Guardians of Ga'Hoole. Directed by Zack Snyder & a little bit of voice acting from Sam Neill. Very underrated. Great reaction guys!

Dee

OMG yes! Onward is such a fantastic film! ❤️

BugBite23

This movie is way different than most, but so fulfilling.

Graham F

Always loved the detail that the title card which is usually shown at the beginning of movies was shown at the end of the movie.

Rice lover

So glad you guys finally watched this, I had a feeling The Oak would like it! And the reason you guys felt similar vibes to Inside Out is because Pete Doctor directed both films!

Ian

Wonderful reaction. I’d like to suggest you watch What Dreams May Come (1998) I really think you’d guys enjoy it ❤️

Emily G

I have to admit, I watched this when it first released and wasn't blown away. However, after re-watching it with you, I was moved to tears. I must have been distracted or not paying attention the first time. Thanks for giving me a reason to watch it again and change my mind! Also, react to It's A Wonderful Life, because it fits the same theme!

Lauren

Another great Pixar movie from 2020 I’d love to see you guys watch is called Onward. 💜

Alanna Banana 🍌

I agree ☝️

Alanna Banana 🍌

The great thing about this movie is we can all relate to Joe and 22 at times. Feeling of self doubt affect us all. 🥺

Alanna Banana 🍌

When Joe was in 22’s body and experiencing her self-doubt, hearing phrases “I’m not good enough”, “there’s no purpose”-I found it such a powerful metaphor for thoughts you experience with depression

Kaley

Since you guys have been going through Pixar movies maybe you guys can take a look at the Cars franchise (2006, 2011, & 2017)

Malachi Heldenbrand

theres a short called 22 vs Earth that idk if you guys know about but i highly recommend checking that out as well :D

slavicandsapphic

so glad more composers from animated movies are getting more recognition for their work :]

slavicandsapphic

Adore this film-the composer/the one playing the piano is Jon Baptiste. He’s an amazing musician, and won an Oscar for this film. He also plays with the band for the Stephen Colbert Late Night Show on CBS.

Kaley

🤜🤛

Let’s gooo finally
