Noir definitely a Homelander fail safe. Can see him turning good or worse than Homelander.

This episode is the exact reason I never once felt any sympathy for the Deep. Unlike A-Train he's unredeamable. RIP Ambrosius 💔

To Mason's point about Homelander being dumbed down, I don't see it that way. It's back to Stan Edgar's point, he wanted all the power and he got it. But, he is not capable of handling that much power. And as Stan put it, he will come soon to regret it. We kinda see it with MM/Butcher dynamic, MM realised and said he cannot be the leader. Homelander cannot/won't. I think ever since he is at the top, slowly everything is going against him. He's losing his people (through his own faults). His son is not fully on his side. No one understands him. He (almost) "transcended" his humanity (I don't think fully yet). He is losing it. People keep saying why hasn't Homie snapped. I'd say he kinda did. It's just instead of "snapping" instantly, we're seeing a slow progression of him losing it. That's gotta have an effect on his mind. And that's why he feels dumb. A great example is in the last episode, he saw Sage had a bullet hole but he was so caught up in the politics and being a leader, he let The Boys go. S1/S2 Homie would have searched everywhere immediately. He's purely aiming for the most power, being the President.

I loved this episode. It feels like they are kinda alternating with some good bangers and some so-so ones. I think the shapeshifters gets like a day's memory ? She repeated the same lines they talked in the morning, like dumpster fire, one step at a time, etc. And the code, I think as of the posters here said, she got Hughie's memory when they had sex. I think Sage's plan was to lure The Boys into the shooter's "home" where the shape shifter touches Annie and becomes Starlight. It went along really well until they bumped into the old lady. So, they had to find another way to become Starlight. What's a better way to make Starlighter's the villain besides making Starlight kill the president ? Now, the question is who kidnapped Annie and who entered during the last scene ? Is it someone we know ? EDIT: I think the shape shifter will also out Neumann as a supe. This might make her turn against The Boys. Faux Starlight kills the president making Starlighter's the enemy. At least that's what I think Sage's plan was.

In this episode, A-Train was the MVP, but I'm worried about him getting killed. The scene where Homelander tear webweaver apart feels like a Mortal Kombat brutality finisher. Also, i think the shapeshifter knew the code because they already got Hughie while they were having sex or as Dave said, the shapeshifter got Starlight's memory. They extracted the virus from the dead evil sheep, so it wouldn't be any different with Kimiko's leg. The reason everyone fears him is his power that is all. Homelander is more distracted this season, and letting go of Sage was a big mistake for him.

This episode was hilarious but so anxiety inducing at the same time. Ryan is definitely being built up to be the one who has the most potential to expose homelander without the risk of being killed by him. The question is will he do it and if he does what will happen. Nueman is definitely battling her own demons, especially since she apparently had to clue about the full extent of the jails homelander wants to use, I honestly think if it came down to it she wouldn’t object nonsupes being thrown in the jails. The Deep was so nasty and I was glad to see him get played by sage😂, he’s the ultimate himbo. That MM and Atrain scene was done beautifully, give the actors their Emmy’s! Atrain made me tear up a bit. What Ashley said rang so true, it really is easy to become a monster around those type of people (other monsters). I’m so scared for what’s gonna happen to her though because she will 100% be caught up (and already has been) in the supe vs human thing. Ryan had me cheering at my screen when he didn’t go along with the Vought-Sesame street wham. So glad Billy put his trust in him and that Ryan is starting to see through homelanders bullshit. I’m worried for Starlight, not only does that shapeshifter have her looks but also her memories. Though will the shapeshifter still be giving the info to Sage (since she was fired) ? Homelander is about to fall straight off the deep end, I can tell 😂 Atrain played in his face for a good few weeks and Homelanders pride got the better of him. Now sages plan is gone! I always knew he was too prideful to actually listen to sage. Amazing ep and I can’t wait for the finale, I’m hoping it ties into Gen V season 2 in some way!

What an epic episode 🔥.. I love how all episodes are linking up especially with the flash backs with some of the characters darl secrets. MM and A atrain was 5 star acting 🙏🏼 (Prediction) Sage leaving the notebook on the table with her Big Plan knowing Homelander will read it and will come back knocking 👊🏼

I hope MM gets a happy ending too! One of the best episodes of the series, absolutely loved it
