It's the same warning movies used to put at the beginning for people who would pirate the movies & post them online, It's illegal unfortunately. You still have to support the OG creator or what would the movie/show creators get in compensation with their content being stolen basically.

Was surprised no one mentioned Love Jones, but it's a classic... some comedy 4 sure, but leans a bit more drama. Soul food is a good movie, but reaction worth?? Not sure abt that. Maybe Think like a Man and Breakin' All the Rules (much more comedy) 😃

As far as the confusion, Jordan brought it up when she first confronted Harper when they were buying the dishes. In the book Kendall and Jackson ( Jordan and Harper) have sex but they never did in real life but Kacey (Mia) and Jackson only sleep in bed together which is what Jordan and Harper ever did. So reading between the lines just like Lance eventually did she realized the characters switched places ciming to the conclusion that Mia and Harper slept together. So the part he was ready was the innocent action of sleeping in bed part but assuming he already read the Jackson Kendall sex scene, that was Lance reading between the lines

2024-02-18 23:44:02 +0000 UTCThe Best Man is a classic for a reason. Malcolm Lee's story is so relatable on so many levels. The cast is stellar. The chemistry between the actors is the real gem here. Everyone is so natural onscreen and credit should be given to Lee for his direction as well. He makes you feel welcome and a part of this friendship displayed so well here. Diamond Dave I agree with you on Robin. That entire situation was a non-starter for me. Oak I agree it was refreshing to see a confident woman ask for what she wanted. From Jordan's perspective, she was feeling like she missed her moment the first time. It was definitely a need to know thing. Fun fact: the card scene was adlibbed by the cast! Its that chemistry you can't teach. Its either there or its not and its here in spades! I am so happy you all will continue the journey of these characters in the later film and series. You will not be disappointed!

In an interview Taye said it was not apart of the script and he never saw it coming and was pissed after lol just look at his reaction when she slapped him and how he responded 😩… I’m so happy you guys enjoyed this classic. The casting was top tier and like you said it’s so natural with all of them that even in previous movies. Hope you all definitely continue to the best man sequels. There so many other great classic movies. Brown sugar, Think like a man etc….hope to continue to see more classics from you fellas.
