No one cares that she's abusive. It's funny

That's true Joe Biden

ROKU

Can we stop laughing for a second, and acknowledge the fact that Bolin is in an abusive relationship with Eska, and the writers are trying to pass it off as comedy. If the roles were reversed it’d be problematic, but the writers are making it out to be abusive relationships are ok when the abuser is a woman. I’ve always found it ridiculous, and inappropriate for a show aimed at kids.

General Iroh is Zuko's grandson, not son--his mother, Zuko's daughter, is the current firelord. But you're right, the pacing is a little bit off this season, due largely to behind the scenes issues (Nick only ordering one season at a time, having to use a different animation studio for the first half of season 2, etc.). The pacing gets much better in the latter half.

I think one of the main things to remember about all of this is that Korra is still a teenager. She is not an adult no matter how much they give her adult responsibilities and freedoms, so all of her decision making is still filtered through emotional teenage hormones. On top of this, she was sheltered her whole life so she doesn't have very many experiences to base from in these decision making moments. She has a lot on her shoulders for someone at her age, just like characters we've seen in both shows that struggle to balance what needs to be done with how they are feeling. She feels solely responsible to save her family and tribe so of course she is going to be extra emotional. When she comes into these moments with Mako, he is just failing to read her and what she needs at that time. I personally blame this on compatibility, there wasn't very much to begin with on a social level, most of this relationship so far has been based on physical attractions whether it be beauty or bending. The focus on the relationship seems to be a point a lot of people struggle with in this season, but I feel like it adds a lot to the show in the long run.

Yes please do episodes 7&8 together it’s meant to be watched Together

Raquel Perodin

Yeah this season has its ups and downs. But you guys should definitely watch Episodes 7 & 8 together like everyone is saying. It'll make sense once you see it.

Ivan Rasmussen

Glad you guys are enjoying it. Please do episode 7 and 8 together. The 2nd half of book 2 is AWESOME!!

Jeron Edwards

This whole back and forth with the romance is a little bit draining and I wish they had toned down on it haha It doesn't have that same wholesomeness ATLAB had on that front. But each episode gets more serious. I like this book.

Miss_CJ

This, episodes 7/8 should be watched together!

Treecko890

Episodes 7 and 8 are split episodes into part 1 and 2 and with these particular episodes you should definitely watch them together so maybe next week you could upload ep 6, 7 and 8 at the same time.

Yeah Korra's behavior is truly just atrocious. Like I've said before, we just continue seeing Korra making bad decision after bad decision, and really it's all because she thinks that she can do no wrong as the Avatar. She refuses to heed the counsel of other people and learn from their wisdom, and it keeps creating these entirely avoidable problems. As for being neutral, that's another thing that this series got wrong. The Avatar isn't supposed to be neutral, they're supposed to keep the balance and peace. After all, Aang wasn't neutral when he was fighting the fire nation. What Korra did was the right thing for the wrong reasons. She did it because her family was threatened, but she should have been fighting from the start because one group of people invaded another in a bid for more territory and power. That threatens the balance.

season two was definitely the least favorite one out of the four for most viewers. the pacing is definitely off, but i can say for sure that seasons 3 and 4 are top tier. i personally almost dropped lok during season 2, but SO glad i didn't. some amazing story telling is on its way after this season is over!!!

Mima

Agree with alot of what you said. It feels like season 2 pacing is off. S1 was nonstop development, but this kinda feels like it has filled alot of empty time with Tenzen/Family. Slows pace and tonality has been off.
