2023-09-10 05:33:36 +0000 UTCI've got one interesting trivia tidbit for this movie: I had a friend who was an archery teacher when this movie came out and he RAVED about the archery scene with the three suitors all shooting poorly. As he described it, each one made the real-life mistakes that new/poorly trained archers make when they're starting out. He talked so much about how the crew must have had real archers working on the film, and they must have gone to archery ranges and carefully modeled the way people moved. He expected them to get it right for the Big Dramatic Scenes where Merida is showing off her skills, but he was SO IMPRESSED that they got even the mistakes right.
