Hate to be that guy, but feel the need. It's not the Tesseract. It is the mind stone from Loki's scepter. Tesseract was in SHIELD's hands at that time and has the space stone inside.

Ok Oak, I'm gonna explain that Tesseract moment to clarify things... First, Wanda ALWAYS had witchy powers but was weak, untrained and unaware. If she had trained, she could have become powerful, similar to Dr. Strange. Instead, when she interacts with the Tesseract, it acts as an amplifier for her powers -- while it killed all previous human subjects, because Wanda *already* had powers, she survives and becomes super powerful, sort of a cheat code skip GO moment. It didn't GIVE her her powers, it just amplified them to 11. Also, (very important) ... after she touches the Tesseract, the stone that is revealed to be inside is the Mind Stone. The Mind Stone is what later creates Vision. So Wanda's powers, amplified by the Mind Stone, allow her to create faux-Vision, probably BECAUSE Vision was created with the Mind Stone. Does that help? πŸ˜‚πŸ€― If I didn't explain it well or enough please add comments Patrons!

If you go back to episode 1, to the advertisement for the toaster, it sounds very much like the beeping bomb that failed to go off in this episode.

Yessss it's here! You guys rock!

For Oak, I was born and raised in New Jersey and have never been to a house that doesn't have a basement! However, I'm from northern NJ so it might be different in other parts of the state. Of course beach houses on the jersey shore typically don't have them, but as far as suburbia goes from my experience they all have basements!

In the comics, Wanda is a level 10 mutant. That leveling system is from the X-Men world. Wanda could've killed Thanos in minutes. They severely underpowered her for the plot and then made her a villain. Her story and arc in the comics are one of my favorites, and she is a unique character.

Also, I spent far too long thinking Oak was sweating his ass off until I realised it was the shadows from the mics πŸ˜‚

I love this episode so much, they tied everything up so perfectly, it really was a masterclass in television writing

Yes, this was the first time the term "Scarlet Witch" was used in the MCU. I think marvel didn't even have the right to use it as Sony had it bought out with the x-men licenses.

Alyssa Dyson

She could honestly be the triplet to Mary Kate and Ashley. She looks almost identical to her sisters. I guess all three of them have been in sitcoms in one way or another!

Padraig Conway

Btw, it was Vision who bought the house for her before he died. You can see in the heart β€œTo grow old in” and signs it β€œV.”

This episode gets me emotional every time, that speech from vision about love and grief it's one of my favorite lines in the entire mcu <3

this episode meant so much to me when it came out. my grandma who was so important and special to me passed away in december and this show came out in january. i was still really heavy in my grief and felt exactly how wanda described it. a wave that would wash over you over and over again and you can't get up. in a way this ep helped me tackle a lot of my feelings and made me feel not so alone. "what is grief if not love preserving" imo is one of the best written lines to come out of any marvel project.

ariel

Been waiting for this one

Ryan Kerr

The best episode imo
