Christmas movie time
Added 2022-11-05 13:16:39 +0000 UTC
Alright folks, for December we will do at least 2 Christmas movies. We need you to suggest which ones.
After, we will gather them, take out which ones everyone has seen and the ones left will be setup for a poll for you to vote on.
Looking forward to all the suggestions 🤙😁
Rise of the Guardians, the Santa Clause series with Tim Allen, and the Polar Express.

The Santa Clause Movies. A Chistmas Switch 1, 2 and 3 as well as The Knight Before Christmas both star Vanessa Hudgens, same universe but different characters between both movies. A Christmas Prince series is good also has a cameo with Vanessa (making a total of 3 movies shes in the same universe). Christmas Inheritance has an amazing meaning behind it. If you had to pick one netflix movie, Christmas Inheritance as its a stand alone movie, no sequels.

I don't know if this is an "only kids" kind of movie, but I've seen it last year and my brain just assumed it as a movie from my childhood. I swear it, when I watch it again now it causes to me same emotions that my childhood movies do. The movie is Klaus. Even if you don't pick it for a reaction, let your children know about it, I love it.

A lot of these I have not seen besides the home alone series, polar express and bits of elf, in our house hold the "Christmas" movies we did watch were not necessarily the types of movies that came out in December or what others would consider "Christmas" movies. I'm super excited to see what gets picked out since it will most likely be a first for me as well! :)

I agree Brittany Lewandowski! I LOATHE Christmas movies, and REALLY REALLY DISLIKE anything romance. But Love Actually is my one and only exception to both!!! Such a great movie! Some epic actors, excellent British humor, and a sexy dance by Hugh Grant.... what more could you ask for??!! Its the only holiday/romantic comedy I'll ever watch. I too would highly suggest it for one of the Holiday watch-a-longs. And not just because I won't watch anything else lololol, I actually think you guys would have a great time watching it!

My favorite Christmas movie is A Muppet Family Christmas, but as I understand it there literally are only pirated copies available due to a nightmare of rights issues (the rights to the characters are currently owned by like 3 different entities). So my recommendations:
-the Star
-the Santa clause
-a Muppet Christmas Carol
-Scrooge (1970)
-The Christmas Toy

Rise of the Guardians immediately comes to mind. Especially for Oak since it's a kids movie. For the whole crew in particular, In Bruges is a fantastic movie and it does take place during Christmas time. If Die Hard is considered a Christmas movie, then In Bruges should too.

1985 - Santa Clause: The Movie

On Nov. 17, HBO Max is releasing A Christmas Story Christmas - a sequel to the original A Christmas Story with the same actor who played Ralphie now all grown up. According to IMDb: Follows the now-adult Ralphie as he returns to the house on Cleveland Street to give his kids a magical Christmas like the one he had as a child.
