It’s like in season 3 when Daniel told Chozen “I wish all rivalries could end like this” and he said “what do you mean?” Was kind of teasing that Chozen would come and help him out with Cobra Kai. I think Miguel’s dad may end up being a future bad guy they have to deal with or something. Coz they’re running out of bad guys.

2022-09-13 13:01:39 +0000 UTCI think Miguel's dad is just a straight up drug lord. Crime bosses don't see themselves as bad guys. If you've ever seen Clear and Present Danger you see how "Ernesto Escobeto" (the drug lord in the film) acts when he throws this big party and he's playing with the children and everyone sees him as a family man, and then you see his right hand man how he meets women and then when the women call him he has a fake secretary that says he's on the "factory floor someplace" and then transfers the call to his cell phone. Totally goes with what Carmen said about how she had no idea the truth about his dad's business. Probably she did not find out about who he is for a very long time.
