A fun franchise that's a perfect example of entertainment and the full experience in a theater. The Black Pearl is still one of my favorite films to this day. I've been using theme music as my ringtone since the film came out lol Actually, the 3rd film's trailer excited me so much before it came out and started my love for editing (which started on YouTube, to TV promos, & now Networks haha). This series, while certainly not perfect, is a THRILLING ride. Glad y'all are enjoying it. Your reactions to seeing 'Mr. Dursley' & 'Finnick' had me rolling ๐คฃ And YES! That was Dame Judy Dench lmao Missed y'all and I'm having a blast catching back up ๐คโค

And you're not wrong when you say he carried this movie. Imo the best Sparrow lines and moments are from this movie....I guess that's why it's my favorite.

2022-09-08 01:54:46 +0000 UTCpatiently waiting for next wednesday. this movie isnโt bad but it just falls short for me. nothing wows me about it. iโm glad gibbs and barbossa are both in it but i miss the main people that started the franchise. i miss the ships, and being out at sea. this one just doesnโt have the true pirates of the caribbean feel. that being said, the fifth one is surprisingly good and very heartfelt.

2022-09-08 01:54:41 +0000 UTCSo, Syrena kissed Philip at the end, confirming the legend that a mermaid's kiss prevents drowning by giving him the ability to breathe underwater, and pulls him into the pool. Not a prey mantis situation like Answer guessed haha This one is my least favorite out of the bunch for me. I personally feel like this movie lacks some depth compared to the first three. The love story between Syrena and Philip is a bit rushed, I didn't really see the chemistry between Angelica and Jack, some of the comedy scenes fell a bit flat at times but overall, not a bad sequel. I DID like the dark twist on the mermaids, especially when they first made an appearance, it was eerie and interesting. I think you will enjoy the fifth one a bit more as some of the cast from the first three movies will be back. And hopefully, eventually, there will be a 6th movie in the future? Crossing fingers!!
