02/14-02/16 Weekend Sketches

Felt like doodling in Procreate this weekend!

There are a couple Valentine's Day sketches of Arneb and Del (which I probably won't finish who knows oops), and then a WIP of my D&D character! Which I may actually finish because I want to practice painting.

I treated myself to the Jingsketch brush pack and I've been having fun playing around with brushes.

Also Procreate just automatically records videos of everything you draw in it, so maybe I'll put some timelapses together when I finish! It records everything, including when I undo/redo, so you guys are in for a wild ride.

I think I like Procreate better than CSP for drawing on the iPad because the UI is so minimal, and because there's no monthly subscription. Also I got a Paperlike screen protector for it and it makes it feel so much nicer to draw on. I had a big problem with my pencil skipping on the super smooth glass, so it's been less of an issue. It's a good thing they send two because my first application did not go well.

Anyways, I'm going to try to do weekend doodling more often! It's fun to just loaf on the couch watching trashy Hulu and sketching for no big reason.
