2024-07-13 18:26:03 +0000 UTCSo my first exposure to this series was X-Men VS Street Fighter, it was at this pizza place I used to go to whenever my family visited my grandfather. Having some exposure to Street Fighter and X-Men before this, it blew my little kid mind. It just made that place even more special for me. After that it took a long while until I come across another game, but when I eventually did, it was Marvel vs Capcom 2. It was like witnessing the ultimate evolution of that series, it was incredible! Also I'll say this with Marvel vs Capcom Infinite: I wish we saw them finished cooking with the DLC characters. Each one had been a certified banger. Even someone like Winter Soldier has weird tech you don't see in a Marvel vs Capcom game like this... I can't remember the DLC list, but it sounded like they were going for interesting picks to make up for the base game. Shame that they didn't though. Let's hope the next Marvel vs Capcom doesn't have a tiny shoe-string budget, and a strangle-hold from the MCU. Like... The MCU themes aren't MVC worthy at all, it absolutely brings in the wrong energy!
