Hey, Trish, I’ve been looking over your character, and something about your backstory’s breaking my suspension of disbelief a little bit.
Trish
What? What do you mean?
MMS
Well… okay, give me the sparknotes on your guy, and I’ll stop you when I have a problem.
Trish
Okay, I guess. So, my guy’s a plasmoid Rogue. I’ve been picturing him as this kinda tentacle-y guy.
MMS
What, like a squid?
Trish
Kinda! He was born in the sea, but he climbed onto a passing ship at one point and wound up meeting and falling in love with another stowaway.
MMS
Okay…

Anyway, they got married, and they’ve got kids and stuff now. He’s been living happily with them, but there’s a kinda running undercurrent of unease, because none of his family knows he’s not human—
