So… you’re playing a Kenku?
Trish
Yep, that’s right. Kenku Barbarian.
MMS
That’s a wild combination. What’s your character’s backstory like?
Trish
Pretty tragic, actually. He lives in a region where bird-people like him are hunted for sport by humans, so he’s gone a little loopy trying to escape them.
Tony
Hey, that’s how my guy is too! We were thinking along the same lines.
MMS
Oh yeah? What’s your character?
Tony
So, I’m a Harengon Rogue/Bard multiclass. I really focused my character on, like, being sneaky and clever.
MMS
Harengon Rogue… hmm. O…kay…
Tony
But yeah, like Trish’s character, he’s lived his life being hunted down by humans, so he’s gotten really good at outwitting them. Like, I can disguise myself as a human.
MMS
Huh. You can? That’s… impressive for a Harengon.
Tony
Thanks! Anyway, I can relax a little right now, since it’s currently more in fashion for humans to hunt kenku.
