Alright, Trish, you told me that your character is unusual this time?
Trish
Oh, absolutely. Actually, I’d describe him as unique — there’s no-one like him.
MMS
Interesting. What’s he like?
Trish
So, Tabaxi Rogue. I was undecided between Mastermind and Arcane Trickster, but eventually went with the latter.
MMS
Sounds good. I will say, Tabaxi Rogue doesn’t exactly sound “unique”, that’s a pretty common build.
Trish
I’m not finished. So, he’s got the Criminal background. He’s Chaotic Evil, too. He’s broken basically every law.
MMS
Still doesn’t sound too unusual. Arcane Trickster? Spellcaster?
Trish
Mhmm. I’ve mostly given him, like, stealth-related spells. He’s got Invisibility, Misty Step, Fog Cloud, stuff like that. See, he’s always doing crimes, but he’s so good at evading the authorities that he’s never been caught.
MMS
I guess that’s pretty interesting. Why were you considering Mastermind?
Trish
Well, he’s, like, super sharp and manipulative. Crazy-high Charisma and Intelligence, expertise in Deception. He looks respectable, but he’s awful. He even cheats at cards!
