2020-10-06 05:56:24 +0000 UTCI LOVE Death. He's such an intriguing character. Even though he's immensely powerful, for some reason, he just really seems to like Dean and Sam. I know he'd say they're less than ants to him, but he likes 'em - you can just tell ;) Also yes! That was the very same Mr. Robert Englund as the doctor, who played Freddy Krueger. I remember being so tickled and amazed that he'd sign on to play such a small role but he never fails to make his performances memorable. One thing I thought they did that was really interesting in this episode (which I only wish they'd done in the eps previous in season 6) is the whole notion of soulless!Sam being another character and person altogether who's just trying to survive when everybody else is trying to stick this soul thingy back in him so he can go back to being this person he doesn't even know or remember being. It was a great idea, but they should have worked that angle in earlier to make it a bit less cut and dry.

2020-05-27 14:01:52 +0000 UTCI always feel so bad for soulless since he's been fairly well-behaved with his Jiminy Cricket, but then all signs point to an excruciating torture according to Heaven, Hell and all between. That's when he runs off the reels for his survival. That said, I do miss soulful Sammyyy.
