2020-08-02 02:22:28 +0000 UTCmaybe.... they wanted to avoid racial segregation and somehow decided that having diverse cultures created divides, so they got rid of all but one or two kinds of dance and one kind of music and one kind of art and dress etc... thinking diversity just meant everyone belonged and the way to do that was to make everyone the same? that sounds stupid but I can see how they might have started thinking they were doing something "good" and
