I wiiiish we got one single example of Sam being self-absorbed. It felt like it was constantly Dean being selfish and then Sam is just grouped in to "the Winchester brothers".

2020-02-10 02:53:38 +0000 UTCLove Bobby, and I'm happy that he stood up for himself. I often get that vibe from the boys a lot, that they think the world revolves around them. Which I guess in a way, specific things have been purposed around them, but I'm glad someone finally said "you're not the center of the universe." That gave me so much more respect for Bobby. Also I LOVE Rufus. He's also one of my favs, and just Rufus and Bobby could have their own show that I would tune in for๐๐ค. Anyway glad you loved the episode. See you next time.

Fun episode, I love the music montage - perfect song choice for Bobby. Jensen did such a good job as a first time director.

2020-02-09 01:58:30 +0000 UTCThe thing I love most about this episode is the way it highlights the fact that there are all these other characters around Sam and Dean. They all have their own histories, personalities, and stories to tell. It's a great trend that continues for the entire series. As for why they didn't kill Crowley at the end of the episode, I figure it's a 'devil you know' situation. There are demons and other beings much worse than him who could be in control of Hell. Crowley doesn't seem to be trying to destroy the world or have a personal vendetta against the Winchesters. They probably figure an unspoken mutual non-aggression pact is better than the war they've been fighting against the demons since the series started.

2020-02-09 01:50:49 +0000 UTCI love Bobby and Rufus together. Two cranky old guys constantly fighting, but you can tell deep down they like each other. Jodie Mills came back too. I love when we get repeat characters. Now that Crowley is king of hell I wonder what that means. Great episode.
